We’re Dana and Takia, a school leader and teacher who believe every student can be successful in math.

When our district adopted a problem-based curriculum, we were excited to see students talking, collaborating, and engaging with math in new ways.

Over time, we realized our students looked like they were learning, but many of them weren’t actually getting better at math.
